The Opportunity 

We’re looking for a brilliant General Manager for Slug & Lettuce Richmond, one of our most loved venues and a real standout thanks to its stunning riverside location. If you know how to build sales, lead teams with confidence and deliver great guest experiences day in, day out, this could be the role for you.

Richmond is a venue with real personality and huge seasonal opportunity. With a steady trade during the winter months, it’s when the weather warms up, the riverside comes alive and sales quadruple! The business sits across one vibrant floor with a single bar, meaning pace, energy and leadership on the floor make all the difference.

About You 

As General Manager, you’ll be at the heart of it all. You’ll drive sales by making the most of every trading moment, convert profit through smart cost control and strong planning, and ensure every guest walk outs feeling looked after and eager to return. Whether it’s brunch, cocktails or a sunset drink by the river, you’ll know how to make the experience feel effortless and memorable.

Leading and supporting your team will be central to your success. You’ll create a positive, inclusive culture where people feel trained, supported and motivated, even during the busiest summer shifts. You’ll be comfortable flexing your approach as the business changes through the seasons, keeping standards high and energy consistent all year round.

We’re looking for a General Manager with proven restaurant or late‑bar management experience, a strong commercial mindset and a genuine passion for hospitality. You’ll understand your numbers, take pride in driving sales and profitability, and love being visible on the floor, setting the tone for both guests and team.
